Network Technician

A CIO Landing IT Network Technician consistently delivers a level of customer service that exceeds expectations in the installation, repair and upgrade of Microsoft OS, computers, servers and peripheral devices. Major responsibilities include, planning, installing, maintaining, repairing and upgrading Microsoft servers and workstations and all required LAN/WAN devices and software.

• Work with active directory/group policies, MS Exchange Server, firewalls/vpn, SQL server administration, IIS, data backup and recovery methods, project planning and implementation for small to mid-scale projects
• Network desktop computers allowing users to send e-mail and to share data, computer applications, and Internet connections
• Understand current standards and terminology used for local area networks (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs)
• Administer existing computer networks and troubleshoot problems as they arise
• Understand disaster recovery plans for various situations if the network were to malfunction
• Setting up server hardware according to manufacturers’ specifications
• Monitoring server hardware performance and diagnosing problems
• Upgrading servers through the addition of new hardware, such as additional RAM, disk drives, nics or other required parts
• Setting up and configuring of equipment and software, testing, updating and transferring customer data.
• Adjusting, repairing, and replacing worn or defective parts
• Test used equipment that has been repaired, prior to returning the equipment to the user
• Understand Standard Microsoft Operating Systems XP, Vista and Windows 7. Microsoft Server Operating Systems, Server 2003 and Server 2008
• Computer skills required to operate, install and repair Microsoft OS and Server and Office Software
• Help non-technical people understand and use complex equipment and software. In addition to technical expertise, we require network technicians to excel in verbal and written communication and to have good interpersonal skills – as we believe in no geek speak here to clients
• Network technicians need the ability to relate to a diverse group of internal and external groups, including customers, staff, and vendors.
• Ability to manage time and arrive at appointments on time, punctual in completing assignments, ability to manage customer and staff expectations.

Education and Training:

• Relevant and up-to-date degrees or certifications in computer technologies and software.
• Microsoft Certifications.
• Three years’ experience.

Social Media Marketing / SEO Manager

CIO Landing IT is seeking a Social Media / SEO Manager to engage our target audience in authentic, meaningful online interactions. This person will portray our brand persona across appropriate social media channels like Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube blog sites and more.

• Develop and execute a social media strategy
• Drive engagement
• Create fresh, authentic content
• Post, monitor and manage social media accounts
• Track, measure, and report results
• Enhance search engine visibility to grow organic search traffic
• Create synergies between social media channels and corporate website
• Manage dashboard and metrics
• Collaborate with stakeholders/team to define project scope, goals, and deliverables
• Great attitude and work ethic
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• Minimum of 5 yrs Professional Marketing Experience
• Minimum 5 years experience in SEO and social media
• In-depth knowledge of social media platforms and search engine optimization techniques
• Proficiency in web content management systems
• Strong website, social media and SEO copywriting skills
• Experience with social media measurement tools
• Experience with video editing program like Final Cut Pro a plus
